Tour Leaders Kathy and Joe Stommel are pleased to announce an encore of last year’s sold-out Salida Art and Ride Tour. Most aspects of the tour will remain the same, including the price, but a couple tweaks will be appreciated by this year’s participants. We will be in town June 21-25, 2017 during the annual Art Walk Festival, which highlights Salida’s numerous galleries and small town hospitality. This tour is geared toward independent, fun/intermediate level riders who are comfortable riding on roads with moderate traffic. Most routes start from the hotel with distances ranging from 18 to 42 miles and can be modified to fit the desires of each rider. Registration price is $375 per person, based on double occupancy. The hotel features rooms with two queen beds, in-room mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryers; complimentary extended continental breakfast; free parking and WiFi; and outdoor hot tub. Registration is limited to 20 participants, plus tour leaders. Tour payments are non-refundable but may be transferred if a suitable substitute can be secured.
