Monday November 1st:

10:00AM FUN-H1-25-SW  Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at the Tennis Bubble (Federal & Bowles) for a ride north on the South Platte Trail to REI.  After a break we will return via the same route.  Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterwards.


Wednesday November 3rd:

WEATHER CANCELLED

10:00 AM FUN-H2-23-SW Meet Patsy Venema (720.934.3498) at Clement Park, 7306 W Bowles Ave, Littleton. Meet south of Columbine Library near the bathrooms and playground. We will ride east and south along paths, into Chatfield Park, over the dam and back partly on low traffic streets. Bring a lunch if you want to picnic at the end of the ride.

5:30 PM at the Barn at Raccoon Creek Golf Club - reservations were required. 


Friday, November 5th:

10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-23-NW Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE HIDDEN GEMS OF ARVADA. We have all experienced the traditional Arvada classic trails of Ralston Creek, Clear Creek, and Van Bibber. Check out this new route instead that explores Lake Arbor, the Pomona Lakes, the Arvada Firefighters Park, the backside of baseball, and other forgotten areas and is guaranteed to be an adventure! Meet at the SE corner of HWY 36 and 104th at the back side of the now closed Black Bear Diner, formally Quaker State and Lube Restaurant (10392 Reed St., Westminster, CO) by a hidden entrance to a hidden trail where the adventure will begin (and end).

10:30 AM,  MTB, P2.5, T2, Air Force Academy.   Meet Janet Martel (303-929-5950,  jmartel98@gmail.com)  at the  United States Air Force Academy for the Falcon Loop which is a 13 mile single track loop. Details at https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/269633/usafa-falcon-trail .  Directions:  South on I25 to NORTH entrance Air Force Academy.  Note you will pass through security and be required to show a picture ID. West through security on N. Gate Blvd.  Left on Stadium Blvd.  Right on Academy Drive.  There will be a parking area on the right.  There might be restrooms?  Water? unknown so bring plenty. IF colder than 45 degrees or snowing/raining we will postpone.


11:00 AM FUN-H2-20-S. Suzy’s Birthday Bash. Meet Suzy Ward (PHONE #) in front of Oreganos 8156 W Bowles (Wadsworth and Bowles). We will take a shorter version of the Clement Park Loop along Lily Gulch Trail out to C-470, then on C-470 Trail south and east to the Platte River Drive. Then we will celebrate Suzy’s birthday with pizza (or whatever you want – bring $) at Oreganos. DBTC will provide cupcakes. If the weather is bad, we can just go to lunch! Monday, November 8th:

11:00AM FUN-H2-20-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a ride west on the Clear Creek Trail to the Peaks to Plains Trail which we will take to the current construction point.  We will then return to Parfet Park in Golden for a break and return to the start on the Clear Creek Trail.


Saturday, November 13th

1:00 pm FUN H1 14 South Meet Suzanne Carter email equinelites@aol.com or call voice mail 720-480-6521 (no text) at the Fox Hollow Golf Club (where the Golf Bag rack is) for a 14- mile ride. (Same bike route we took for the TRI). For this ride, we will head East on Bear Creek Trail. The ride will be an out and back. Arrive early so we can leave right at 1:05. Then we will meet at the Fox Hollow patio and have a beverage and discuss the TRIATHELON FOR 2022. I have not been on a ride since the 19th of July when we had the TRI then......so this is easy and if someone wants to have an easy NOVember ride, this is for you! and me!

Monday, November 15th:

11:00AM FUN-H2-23-SW  Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Reynolds Landing parking lot (6745 S. Santa Fe Dr) for a ride south on the South Platte Trail to Chatfield State Park where we will ride to the marina via trails and road.  After a break we will return via the same route.  

11:00am MTB T1, P2, approx. 14 miles, Highlands Ranch Backcountry Trails. Meet Steve Thomas (303-419-2531) at 11:00am on Monday, Nov. 15 to explore the numerous trail options available at the far south end of Highlands Ranch, including a portion of the Douglas County East-West Trail. All of the trails are smooth single track with no rocky areas, just lots of twists and turns and a few short climbs. We will meet at Pronghorn Park in Highlands Ranch. Go south on Broadway to Wildcat Reserve Pkwy. Go right on Wildcat Reserve and take the first left, Wethersfield Way. Go south on Wethersfield a short distance to Pronghorn Park, which will be on the right. Bring a snack to share after the ride.


Tuesday, November 16th

11 AM-FUN PLUS-H2/H3-22-SE (ELEV. 1,162 FT.) Meet new ride leaders, Wes & Ruby Frederick,(303-522-3573/303-520-7516) in front of Starbucks next to Target at 7500 S. Gartrell Rd. Aurora, CO 80016 (near E-470 and Gartrell Rd.).  Starting from Starbucks, we will take the Piney Creek Trail to Red-Tailed Hawk Park and Tallyn’s Gulch Trail-through some neighborhoods and around Aurora Reservoir, to Harvest Rd./Trail and connect with the High Plains Trail/HPT, up Quincy crossing Smoky Hill Rd., down Alpe d’Smoky Hill and back to Starbucks. Bring $$$ if you want to have something at Parkway Bar & Grill.


Wednesday, November 17th

Sunday, November 21st

1:30 pm FUN PLUS-H2/H3-27-SE. Meet Ruby and Wes Frederick (303-522-3573) at East Arapahoe Trailhead near Arapahoe Rd. & Jordan. We will take the CC trail north around CC Reservoir with an optional 1.5 mile firm gravel on the north side of the reservoir, then take the Piney Creek trail to the 470 trail, down through Parker neighborhoods and rejoin the CC trail back to our starting point.


Monday, November 22nd:

11:00AM FUN-H2-24-NW  Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a ride west on the Clear Creek Trail to Easley Rd, which we will take north to the Blunn Trail and the west side of the Westwoods Golf Course along the Ralston Creek Trail.  After a break we will return via Virgil Way and Easley Rd leading to the Clear Creek Trail and back to the park.  

12PM Leisure/FUN - 20+ SW Meet Lin Hark at 12:00 PM at River Run Park for a ride to REI downtown and back with some possible extra miles off the So Platte Path. Directions: River Run Park is next to Englewood's Broken Tee Golf Course at 2101 W Oxford Ave in Sheridan, CO 80110. Enter from Oxford between Federal and Santa Fe and drive to the west end of the parking lot and park near the pavilion. If you would like to just come to the celebration meet Lin and the group around 2:45-3PM for cake and ice cream.


Thursday, November 25th  

10:00 AM Turkey Day Hunger Builder Ride FUN/INT H2-22-SW and & MTB T2 P2 Give yourself an excuse to eat more turkey and gravy!  Meet your DBTC buddies at SW corner of Jewell & Kipling (Old Performance Lakewood at 11058 W Jewell Ave; park away from the buildings) for a Calorie burning appetizer ride.  We'll cruise down Kipling, ride up MT Carbon, pass thru Bear Lake Park, and then grind into Red Rocks Park.  After a break at the trading post, we'll head to Dinosaur Ridge, Green Mtn/ Alameda to return to the start.  We realize that many people have other plans for the day.  So, this ride will have limited stops and target for a return to the start no later than 1 PM. This is now a Show-N-Go.

 

Friday, November 26th   

12:00 PM FUN PLUS-H2-20 NW “Work off the Turkey Ride” Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) cell at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center (NOT at Prospect Park because it is closed for construction.) We will ride west on Clear Creek Trail to north on Easley St. west on 60th St. to Van Bibber around the reservoir and return the same way. We will ride if it is at least 45 degrees  and the trails are clear.

12:00 FUN PLUS-H1-18-NW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at Wheat Ridge Rec Center for a ride east on the Clear Creek Trail to Twin Lakes Park. After a break we will return via the same route.


Monday Nov 29th:
11:00AM FUN-H2-19-SW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at the Stone House (Estes & Yale along the Bear Creek Trail).  We will ride on the Bear Creek Trail to the South Platte Trail taking it south to Hudson Gardens for a break.  We will return via the same route.

We will ride the South Platte to Bear Creek Trail, up the dam and around Bear Creek Lake Park. After a break on Mt. Carbon will return via the trail. We will ride if it is at least 45 degrees  and the trails are clear.


Thursday ,  December 2nd

10:00 AM FUN-H1-28-SE Meet Suzy Ward (720-355-3268) at Village Greens Park (by Cherry Creek Reservoir Dam) at 10am and ride to Kilwins Chocolates and Ice Cream and back on the Bike path. 14 mile each way.
Ice Cream ride in December in Colorado........Amazing


Friday ,  December 3rd

10:00 AM Leisure H1/H2-15-SW. LEE GULCH LOOP Meet Jill McMahon (303 888-0314 cell) at the Reynolds Landing parking lot. (Go west on Brewery Lane at Santa Fe Drive where there is a light. Continue past the Breckenridge Brewery to the big parking lot at the end of the road on the right.) This is a loop ride on the Platte River Trail, the Big Dry Creek Trail, the Highline Trail and the Lee Gulch Trail. It winds around some very pretty areas - mostly on paved trails but some hard gravel and a short distance on residential streets. Bring a snack. There will be an optional lunch following the ride.
Bring a mask as we will be following all local mask rules.

11:00AM FUN-H2-22-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Crown Hill Park (26th & Garrison) for a ride to Wash Park.  We will ride through neighborhoods to the Cherry Creek Trail, which we will take to Wash Park.  After riding around the park and taking a break we will return via the same route.


Wednesday, December 8th  

1:45 PM FUN-H2-21-NW - Meet Jeff Krinsky(720-373-9107)THE GREAT CHRISTMAS DISPLAY RIDE. Bring (and wear) your Christmas cheer and tidings of good joy as we enjoy this BRAND NEW RIDE culminated by an outdoor Christmas Party and Christmas display viewing in my front yard!  This new ride will take us around the trails of Rock Creek, Interlocken and Broomfield highlighted by the new bike overpass between Interlaken and Broomfield leading to never before seen trails!!!  We will meet at my house at the strategically-selected time so that we can finish up there as the sun begins to set. We will then put our bikes away and enjoy some Christmas wassail as we watch my four time award winning Christmas display come to life!!! My address is 3015 Mica Court, Superior, Co. 80027. Please do not park in front of my house as that would block the display that we will be observing. (There is plenty of parking one block away in the cul-de-sac portion of Mica Court.) 11:00AM FUN-H2-26-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Twin Lakes Park (west of Broadway on 70th, 300 W. 70th) for a ride east on the Clear Creek Trail to the South Platte Trail, which we will take to Riverdale Park.  After a break we will return via the same route. (Since this is the exact same route as Peter's new ride on Sunday, Dec 12th, we could discuss taking the South Platte to REI instead of to Riverdale again.)

11:00AM FUN-H2-17-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center in the North end of the parking lot along Kipling St. for a ride to Sloans Lake.  We will ride the Clear Creek Trail, as well as bike-friendly roads in Wheat Ridge to Sloans Lake where we will ride around the lake before taking a break.  We will return on 20th and 26th avenues to Crown Hill Park before riding through neighborhoods to the Clear Creek Trail and back to Prospect Park.


Wednesday, December 22th:
