DBTC Out-of-Town-Tours (OOTTs) COVID-19 Policy

 1.  All OOTTs will feature smaller groups, an average of 10-14 people.

 2.  Before the tour, all OOTT riders will either 1) receive their round(s) of COVID-19 vaccination(s) and present a copy of proof of vaccination to the tour leader; or 2) receive and present a copy to the tour leader of a negative COVID-19 test result no more than three (3) days prior to tour destination arrival.

 3.  All riders are required to supply their own face masks, either reusable (bring several) or disposable, to be worn inside common areas of lodging, outside at pool or patio, and when gathered at rest stops during rides.  Masks do not need to be worn while eating/drinking.

 4.  If snacks/foods/beverages are provided by tour leader, these will be in single-serve, individually wrapped packages.

 5.  Riders are reminded to bring their own disinfectant wipes, tissues, and hand sanitizers.  Use the wipes to wipe down surfaces in hotel rooms:  light switches, door knobs, TV remote, curtain rods, flat surfaces, etc.  Riders should wash hands frequently, when possible, and should not touch other people's bikes and/or belongings.  

 6.  When riding, all riders are reminded to leave plenty of space between each bicycle.  At stops, riders should maintain social distancing of 6 or more feet from others.

 7.  After a day of riding, riders should clean cycling-specific equipment: gloves, sunglasses, helmets, wind jackets, etc.

 8.  If tour leader has scheduled a paid group activity, including a cultural event, riders will not be pressured to attend, but no refunds will be given if a rider doesn't participate in the paid activity.

9.  Plan to be flexible as things can change quickly with hotels and restaurants that are our partners--what is open one day, may be closed tomorrow.  Expect longer lines and wait times since restaurants may be operating at a reduced capacity and are constantly having to adapt to new challenges.
