Wednesday, April 1st:
10:30 AM FUN PLUS H-2-20 Miles SW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at Clement Park. Meet behind the library near the skateboard park. We will ride some quiet streets in the Columbine neighborhood to South Platte Canyon Rd., to Chatfield State Park, up the dam, then to the C-470 trail, to the Dutch Creek Trail, and return to Clement Park.
Thursday, April 2nd:
11:00 AM FUN PLUS H2 22 miles SW Meet Simone Caruthers (720-636-2884) at Fox Hollow Golf Course, 13410 W Morrison Rd, for a ride on bike paths and quiet streets. We’ll wander down the Bear Creek Trail, then climb up to Bow Mar, enjoy the trails in Grant Ranch then sail back down to Fox Hollow.
Saturday, April 4th:
10:30 AM FUN PLUS H2 26 miles SW Meet Janet Martel, 303-929-5950, Jmartel98@gmail.com at Stone House Park, 2900 South Estes St. Lakewood. We will ride bike paths, dedicated bike lanes and a few quiet roads. One very small section of gravel. From Stone House we will ride to Bear Creek Park, south through neighborhoods from park to C470 trail. East Along Dutch Creek trail. Sunday, April 5th:
9:30 am FUN-H1-24-30 NE ROCKY MOUNTAIN ARSENAL RIDE Meet Cyndy Klepinger (303.725.1565) at Cake Crumbs, 2216 Kearney. We’ll ride city streets north to the Sand Creek Trail, ride toward Northfield area and Rocky Mountain Arsenal. We will return by way of bike lanes and Central Park Greenway trails. Pace will be 12 to 14 mph. Ride limited to 10 riders, to reserve a spot, text Cyndy at 303.725.1565. Will have the opportunity to get a snack at Cake Crumbs after the ride. Monday, April 6th:
10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-28-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Crown Hill Park (26th & Garrison) for a ride that will involve the new bike trail along Wadsworth in Wheat Ridge. We will ride east through Wheat Ridge neighborhoods to reach the new trail, taking it to the Clear Creek Trail. Then we will ride the Clear Creek Trail east to the Ralston Creek Trail, which we will ride west to the restroom on the west side of the Westwoods Golf Course. After a break, we will ride back to the Clear Creek Trail via Easley Rd, cutting off the trail at Clear Creek Crossing to 32nd Ave and back to the park. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic after the ride.
Wednesday, April 8th:
10:00 AM FUN-H2/H3-25 miles SW Latte Ride Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) behind the McDonald’s at Sheridan and Dartmouth. My old commute – we’ll head to the Tech Center on various trails. We must climb some hills and there are sections on the Highline Canal (pea gravel), and then we’ll have our morning latte COMPLEMENTS OF DBTC and loop back to Bear Valley. It is a beautiful ride, and we get to have a wonderful downhill back

MTB P2, T1, Backcountry Trails
THE RIDE: Meet Steve Thomas to explore the numerous trail options in the far south end of Highlands Ranch including a portion of the Douglas County East-West Trail. The trails are smooth singletrack with lots of twists and turns and a few short climbs. Total distance is about 14 miles.
THE TIME: Meet at Pronghorn Park parking lot at 10:30 AM.
THE DIRECTIONS: Go south on Broadway to Wildcat Reserve Pkwy. Go right (west) on Wildcat Reserve and take the first left onto Wethersfield Way. Go south on Wethersfield a short distance to Pronghorn Park, on the right side of the street.
THE FOOD: Bring snacks, drinks and chairs for after the ride at the park.

Ride the coaster backwards but then you get to go DOWN C-470 train and through the new tunnel (Another shoutout).

9:30 AM FUN PLUS-H2/3-23-SE Tour de Highlands Ranch Meet Robert (303-475-4964) and Bill (630 386-7935) at the Northridge Rec Center, 8800 S Broadway, HR 80126. Three lights south of C-470. After turning into the rec center, proceed through the parking lot(s) to the eastern-most section. Enjoy the twists, turns and rolling terrain of this scenic ride with amazing views of the front range (weather permitting) and stops at the Cheese Ranch Historic Park and Highlands Ranch Mansion. 10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-24 miles-SE KRISPY KREME DONUT RIDE Meet Susan Larson (720-207 7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead (.2 miles east on Arapahoe Rd from the Arapahoe Rd and S. Jordan Rd intersection). Start off the riding season with a fun easy ride and a treat in the middle! If it’s a warm day you can purchase a cold drink and if it’s a cold day you can purchase a warm drink. Either go with a fresh Krispy Kreme donut! We’ll ride south on the Cherry Creek Trail to the E470 Trail where we’ll turn and go west until we reach Krispy Kreme. Bring money for your donut and/or beverage. We’ll ride back on the same route. No picnic afterwards as we’ll be full of donuts! The ride is limited to 10 riders. NOON (was 9:30 AM) FUN PLUS H1 24 NE. Sand Creek-High Line Loop. Meet Mark Fields (302-465-4525) at the northeast corner parking lot of Fred Thomas Park, 26th Avenue and Roslyn Streets, one block east of Quebec for a mostly-paved big loop through East Denver and Aurora, primarily on the Sand Creek and High Line Trails and returning on some city streets. DANG Ice Cream, a few blocks away, will be our reward afterward. Excessive cold (as if) or very wet weather cancels; text me if you’re unsure we’re still on.
Sunday, April 19th:
10:00 AM FUN-H2-21-NW MAJESTIC PREMIERE RIDE Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) at the Majestic View Park north parking lot (north on Wadsworth to W 72nd Ave, west on 72nd, just west of Carr on the south side. THIS IS NOT THE ENTRANCE at GARRISON ST. nor 71st ST!) This recently enhanced ride will go west on Ridge Road and van Bibber Creek Trail, north on the new Blunn Trail and then return on most of the length of Ralston Creek Trail. The theme of this ride is a “Hello to spring” so a surprise to ring in the 2025 biking season will be provided to all participants during the Ralston Creek Golf Course break!
Monday, April 20th:
10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-27-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Crown Hill Park (26th & Garrison) for a ride south to the Stone House and then east along the Bear Creek Trail connecting to the South Platte Trail. We will then ride north to REI for a break. We will return via Highlands and Wheat Ridge neighborhoods. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.

10:00 AM FUN-H2 (1,069 Gain)-24 miles SW NEW TRAIL, NEW ROUTE Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618 5069) at Nixon’s Coffee Shop at Hudson Gardens. The parking lot for trail use is at the north end of Hudson Gardens behind the car wash on Maplewood Street. There is a short trail down to the coffee shop. We’ll head up through Grant Ranch and over to Weaver Creek then C-470 and finally down the new Dutch Creek Trail for a speedy downhill back to the Nixon’s. Bring your lunch or buy it at Nixon’s. 10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-23-SW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at the Stone House (Estes & Yale along the Bear Creek Trail) for a ride north on Garrison St, riding a loop through Applewood and Wheat Ridge neighborhoods along 26th and 32nd Avenues. After a break at Crown Hill Park, we will return via Garrison to the start. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward.
10:00 AM MTB T2-P2 4-10 miles (shorter, easier, route is Quarry Trail) Join Jennifer Sax (720-260 8595) for a ride up Shoshonite Trail to the top of South Table Mountain. We will ride to the Dance Hall peak and hike the stairs to the high point for a photo. Then, you can pick which trail(s) to return to the Shoshonite Trail to descend back to your car. The trailhead is located across the street from Faith Lutheran Church at 17701 W. 16th Avenue (Take Rimrock Road to the church) Parking is on the street. Optional lunch after is at Bonfire Burritos, 2221 Ford Street Golden.
Friday, April 24th:
10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-26-SE Tallman Gulch and Sulphur Gulch with a stop at Fika Coffee House Meet Susan Larson (720-207-7300) at Arapahoe Road Trailhead (.2 miles east on Arapahoe Rd from the Arapahoe Rd and S. Jordan Rd intersection) for a ride south on the Cherry Creek Trail into Parker and on to the Tallman Gulch Trail. We’ll stop for a break at Fika Coffee House before continuing on through neighborhoods until we reach the Sulphur Gulch trail. We’ll ride that until it connects to the Cherry Creek trail and head back to our starting point. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic afterward. The ride is limited to 10 riders. Saturday, April 25th:
9:00 AM FUN-H2-18/23-NW Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE SPACE, TIME, 9/11 RIDE or THE HIDDEN GEMS OF BROOMFIELD! This adventure begins near the SE corner of Sheridan and 120th at Whole Foods in Westminster (4451 Main Street, 1/2 mile east of Sheridan at Vrain and 120th). We will take secret trails around Broomfield and Westminster where we’ll experience three incredible hidden displays including THE SOLAR SYSTEM, a brief history of GEOLOGIC COLORADO TIME, and a 9/11 MONUMENT. (This ride has an escape option at the 18 mile marker for riders who run out of time and/or steam.) Possible lunch afterwards at Whole Foods. This adventure has received rave reviews with 4.5 stars from the ride critics!
Sunday, April 26th:
9:30 AM Fun Plus-H2/3- 23.7 SE – Daniels Park and The Bluffs Meet Bill Monroe (630-386-7935) at the Lone Tree Arts Center 10075 Commons St, Lone Tree, CO 80124. The ride will go through Surrey Ridge, Beverly Hills, Castle Pines and Lone Tree. We will stop at Daniels Park which has one of the best views of the entire Front Range, downtown Denver and the Tech Center. There’s also a buffalo herd. We will then go back north on Monarch Blvd and over The Bluffs in Lone Tree. The Bluffs part of the ride is about 5.5 miles on gravel a little looser than the Highline Canal. Gravel tires are recommended. We will also take a quick stop at Lonehenge. 10:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-24-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at Anderson Park (44th & Field) for a loop ride to Golden, through Arvada and back to the park. We will ride the Clear Creek Trail, Tucker Gulch, Mesa St Trail, Van Bibber Trail, and Blunn Trail before taking 52nd Ave through western Arvada to return. Note: We will spend approximately one mile on a wide shoulder on Hwy 93 during this ride. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic after the ride.
Tuesday, April 28th:

Wednesday, April 29th:
9:30 AM FUN-H2to3-22 SW Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) at the Sheridan Library Parking lot 3425 W Oxford Ave (west of Federal on Oxford). We’ll head toward the rebuilt Bow Mar area and go to Bowles Lake, Grant Ranch to Wadsworth and back to Sheridan High School. We’ll ride some hills and lots of ups and downs, some beautiful quiet streets and pleasant bike paths. Lunch is at Monaghan’s Bar and Grill 3889 S King St. There used to be a tunnel from there to Fort Logan so the soldiers could sneak out.
